New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, New Boston improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Magnolia (Magnolia, AR) to meet the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
