California High School Volleyball - Calvary Chapel tips Valley Center

August 30, 2025: Downey, CA 90242

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Calvary Chapel Grizzlies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Valley Center Jaguars.

The Grizzlies (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Rosemead was edged by Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Jaguars now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host California School for the Deaf-Riverside for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Valley Center will face a Cubs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over The Grove School (Redlands, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 4-5.
