Iowa High School Volleyball - Washington tips Carlisle
August 30, 2025: Carlisle, IA 50047 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Washington Demons (Washington, IA) and the host Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA), observed Washington's volleyball team hold off Carlisle by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Washington improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Demons host Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Mt. Pleasant won 2-1 in their recent league battle against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA)
The Wildcats now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballard for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Carlisle will meet a Bombers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA). The Bombers record now stands at 2-3.
