In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets.

The (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.
