California High School Volleyball - Convent of the Sacred Heart edged by Granada
August 30, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94115 Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs (San Francisco, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Granada improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Matadors travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to encounter the Highlanders in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Highlanders go into the test with a record of 1-1. Piedmont won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA)
The Cubs now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Bay School for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Convent of the Sacred Heart will encounter a Breakers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sonoma Academy (Santa Rosa, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 1-6.
