August 30, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94112 Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lick-Wilmerding Tigers (San Francisco, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Dougherty Valley will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Lick-Wilmerding drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Balboa (San Francisco, CA) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3.
