Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Seven Lakes upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Katy (Katy, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 6A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Katy lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Clear Creek (League City, TX)

Next, the Panthers and Pantherettes meet the Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Duncanville will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Westlake (Austin, TX).
