August 30, 2025: Anaheim, CA 92807 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) and the visiting Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA), saw Esperanza's volleyball squad achieve victory over Tustin by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Esperanza improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Valencia (Placentia, CA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-1. Valencia won 3-0 in their recent league test against Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA)
The Tillers now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they host Costa Mesa for a Empire challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Tustin will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Valencia (Placentia, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.
