The Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX) volleyball held off the host Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league match.

Coming up next, the Lobos clash with the Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 bout, on Tuesday, September 2. Lopez will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 18-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX).
