The Whitney Wildcats volleyball squad (Whitney, TX), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Hillsboro Eagles (Hillsboro, TX)

With the win, Hillsboro improves its record to 17-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to La Vega (Waco, TX) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 9-3. La Vega won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Brentwood Christian (Austin, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. Whitney will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Summit International Prep (Arlington, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 14-6.
