The Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ingleside Mustangs to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Robstown for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. Santa Gertrudis Academy will confront a Cottonpickers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hebbronville (Hebbronville, TX). The Cottonpickers record now stands at 4-10.
