Illinois High School Volleyball - Metamora tips Lincoln-Way West

In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Metamora Redbirds volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors.

With the win, Metamora improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Redbirds travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to face the Griffins in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Griffins go into the test with a record of 0-2. Lincoln-Way East lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL)

Next, the Warriors meet the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL).
