August 30, 2025: Carrollton, TX 75006 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) and the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), observed Mansfield Timberview's volleyball team top Newman Smith by a count of 3-0.
The Wolves (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, South Grand Prairie achieved victory over Richland (North Richland Hills, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lebanon Trail for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Newman Smith will encounter a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 3-9.
