Illinois High School Volleyball - Marist tips Normal University

August 30, 2025: Chicago, IL 60655

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Marist RedHawks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Normal University Pioneers.

The RedHawks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis edged Rosary (Aurora, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers play the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Normal University will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Generals go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL).
