Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI) and the host St. Croix Falls Saints (St. Croix Falls, WI), observed Merrill's volleyball team hold off St. Croix Falls by a count of 2-1.

With the win, Merrill improves its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bluejays travel to New Richmond (New Richmond, WI) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 3-0. New Richmond won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hayward (Hayward, WI)

The Saints now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baldwin-Woodville for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4.
