August 30, 2025: Peoria, IL 61603 Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Seneca improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to meet the Mallards in a Tri-County challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Mallards come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
Next, the Chargers meet the Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Peoria Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
