In Saturday's non-league match, the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host Reno Huskies (Reno, NV), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 30. University Prep will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Manteca (Manteca, CA).

With the loss, Reno drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Hug (Reno, NV) to clash with the Hawks in a 5A Northern - High Desert bout on Thursday, September 4.
