In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mater Dei Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Triad Knights.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Shells come into the South Central battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Roxana achieved victory over Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
