August 31, 2022: Archbald, PA 18403 Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 3. Valley View will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Honesdale (Honesdale, PA).
The Spartans now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warrior Run for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 3. Wyoming Valley West will confront a Defenders team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Danville (Danville, PA). The Defenders record now stands at 1-1.
