August 31, 2022: Burlington, NC 27215 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) and the host Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC), saw Grimsley's soccer squad get by Williams by a margin of 2-1.
The Whirlies now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they host R.J. Reynolds for a non-league test on Friday, September 2. Grimsley will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Demons record now stands at 0-1.
