North Carolina High School Volleyball - Pender over New Hanover
August 31, 2022: Burgaw, NC 28425 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw Pender's volleyball squad beat New Hanover by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Pender upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Lakewood won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host South Brunswick for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1.
