August 31, 2022: Albemarle, NC 28001 In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Salisbury Hornets soccer squad scored a good 9-0 triumph over the Albemarle Bulldogs.
The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Gray Stone Day thwarted West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 6-1, in a non-league match.
With the loss, Albemarle drops to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to encounter the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match on Wednesday, September 7. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the match with a record of 2-0. South Stanly won 10-1 in their recent non-league match against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)
