August 31, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23321

Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 31-13 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Benedictine improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cadets host Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Woodberry Forest lost 53-13 in their recent non-league test against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)

With the loss, Western Branch drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to battle the Bulldogs in a Southeastern test on Friday, September 8. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0. King's Fork won 26-13 in their recent non-league test against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
