Virginia High School Football - Briar Woods knocks off Loudoun County

The Briar Woods Falcons football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Loudoun County Captains to 14 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Broad Run for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Briar Woods will play a Spartans squad coming off a 49-0 league win over Park View (Sterling, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Captains play the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) in a Dulles battle, on Friday, September 8. Loudoun County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 42-13 non-league win over Independence (Ashburn, VA).
