The Cedar Cliff Colts thwarted the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats football team by a count of 27-9 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cedar Cliff upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Colts host J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA) to encounter the Red Tornado in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Red Tornado go into the outing with a record of 1-1. J.P. McCaskey won 40-13 in their recent non-league outing against Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA)

With the loss, Mechanicsburg moves to 0-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Red Land (Lewisberry, PA) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Red Land lost 24-20 in their recent non-league outing against Northeastern (Manchester, PA)
