August 31, 2023: Alexandria, SD 57311 In Thursday's league game, the Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) football team smashed the visiting Chester Flyers (Chester, SD), by a final score of 59-7.
The Beavers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Trojans come into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Parkston overwhelmed Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 54-0, in a league game.
The Flyers now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Chester will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 36-16 league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.
