Everett Vikings (Lansing, MI) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team rout the host Eastern Quakers (Lansing, MI), 40-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Everett improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Vikings host Waverly (Lansing, MI) to confront the Warriors in a Capital Area - Blue test on Friday, September 8. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-2. Waverly lost 33-13 in their recent non-league test against Jackson (Jackson, MI)

With the loss, Eastern moves to 0-2 on the season. The Quakers travel to Williamston (Williamston, MI) to confront the Hornets in a Capital Area - Red test on Friday, September 8. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 1-1. Williamston won 35-7 in their recent non-league test against Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI)
