Michigan High School Football - Ford held off by St. Joseph
August 31, 2023: St. Joseph, MI 49085 St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Joseph improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI) to battle the Maroon Giants in a Southwestern Michigan test on Friday, September 8. The Maroon Giants come into the test with a record of 1-0. Kalamazoo Central won 47-34 in their recent non-league test against Sturgis (Sturgis, MI)
With the loss, Ford drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Southeastern (Detroit, MI) to battle the Jungaleers in a Detroit Public 1 test on Thursday, September 7. The Jungaleers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Southeastern lost 32-14 in their recent non-league test against Edison Academy (Detroit, MI)
