The Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) football defeated the visiting Independence (Ashburn, VA), 42-13 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) in a Catoctin bout, on Friday, September 8. Tuscarora will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Captains enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 27-14 non-league loss to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA).

The (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Brooke Point (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Brooke Point defeated Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA), 58-7, in a non-league bout.
