In Thursday's non-league match, the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves football squad scored a big 40-8 victory over the J.F. Webb Warriors.

In their next game, the Timberwolves clash with the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. Montgomery Central will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 28-19 non-league loss to Vance County (Henderson, NC).

The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their match against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
