The Mira Loma Matadors football squad scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Valley Vikings to 0 in the Matadors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Matadors now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Mira Loma will face a Wolves squad coming off a 49-14 non-league loss to Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings face the Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 30-24 non-league loss to Johnson (Sacramento, CA).
