The North Branch Vikings football team (North Branch, MN), was beaten 42-28 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN)

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Cloud Cathedral was beaten by Warroad (Warroad, MN), 24-22, in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] for a Northeast - Red challenge on Friday, September 8.
