Kentucky High School Soccer - Blazer knocks off Rowan County
August 31, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tomcats confront the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) in a District 63 challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Blazer will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY).
The Vikings now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fleming County for a District 61 challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Rowan County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
