The Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) football routed the host North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), 38-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 7. Alexander Central will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.
