August 31, 2023: Connelly Springs, NC 28612 The Draughn Wildcats football team (Valdese, NC), was ripped 52-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC)
The Cavaliers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chase for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. Draughn will meet a Trojans team coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
