In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Forbush Falcons football squad scored a close 30-24 victory over the Starmount Rams.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 14. Forbush will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.

The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their match against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, North Wilkes was nudged by East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 22-6, in a non-league match.
