August 31, 2023: Huntersville, NC 28078 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), saw Hopewell's soccer squad get by Pine Lake Prep by a count of 3-2.
The Titans now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Weddington for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Hopewell will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Pine Lake Prep drops to 2-2 on the season. The Pride travel to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 1-3. Christ the King lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)
