Kentucky High School Soccer - Beechwood knocks off Simon Kenton
August 31, 2023: Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. Beechwood will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY).
The Pioneers now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Daviess County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2. Simon Kenton will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 league win over Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.
