August 31, 2023: Washington, DC 20008 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) and the host Burke Bengals (Washington, DC), saw School Without Walls's soccer squad knock off Burke by a count of 3-0.
The Penguins now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. School Without Walls will meet a Lions squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Burke drops to 0-1 on the season. The Bengals travel to Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD) to meet the Wildebeests in a Potomac Valley test on Wednesday, September 13.
