Kentucky High School Soccer - Frankfort held off by Model
August 31, 2023: Frankfort, KY 40601 In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Model Patriots soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Frankfort Panthers.
The Patriots (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Eagles come into the District 44 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Madison Southern nudged Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
With the loss, Frankfort drops to 4-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 2-3.
