Kentucky High School Soccer - Montgomery County knocks off Paris
August 31, 2023: Paris, KY 40361 Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. Montgomery County will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Thorobreds enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY).
The Greyhounds now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Brossart for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2. Paris will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cooper (Union, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
