Oklahoma High School Softball - Moss bounces Wewoka
August 31, 2023: Holdenville, OK 74848 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) and the visiting Wewoka Tigers (Wewoka, OK), saw Moss's softball squad achieve victory over Wewoka by a count of 19-4.
The Pirates now sport a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buffalo Valley for a Class B match on Friday, September 1. Moss will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK). The Buffaloes record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Wewoka falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Strother (Seminole, OK) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Friday, September 1. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 7-11. Strother lost 10-4 in their recent league match against Alex (Alex, OK)
