The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE) and the host Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE), saw Cambridge's volleyball squad beat Alma by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Cambridge upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Trojans host St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 2-2. St. Patrick's lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Perkins County (Grant, NE)

The Cardinals now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Northern Valley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Alma will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Thunder Ridge (Kensington, KS). The Huskies record now stands at 5-1.
