With the win, Blake upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Breck (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Mustangs in a Independent Metro Athletic outing on Wednesday, September 6. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Breck won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN)
The Tommies now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Richfield for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 5. Edison will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.
