Minnesota High School Volleyball - Spectrum over Columbia Heights
August 31, 2023: Elk River, MN 55330 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) and the visiting Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN), saw Spectrum's volleyball squad beat Columbia Heights by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Spectrum improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Sting travel to North Lakes Academy (Forest Lake, MN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. The Huskies enter the test with a record of 0-1. North Lakes Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against United Christian Academy (Bloomington, MN)
The Hylanders (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Visitation (Mendota Heights, MN). The Blazers enter the Tri-Metro test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Visitation gained a win over Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), 3-2, in a non-league test.
