August 31, 2023: Marshalltown, IA 50158 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA) volleyball squad edged the host Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Sailors battle the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 2. Columbus will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
With the loss, Marshalltown drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Mason City (Mason City, IA) to battle the Mohawks in a CIML - Iowa contest on Tuesday, September 5. The Mohawks come into the contest with a record of 3-6. Mason City won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA)
