Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lancers battle the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 5. Legion Collegiate Academy will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC).

With the loss, Covenant Day drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 5.
