August 31, 2023: Palmyra, PA 17078 The Elizabethtown Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Palmyra Cougars to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bears now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manheim Central for a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 game on Tuesday, September 5. Elizabethtown will meet a Barons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA). The Barons record now stands at 2-0.
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Rams enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Penns Valley Area was dropped by Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
