Iowa High School Volleyball - Solon winner over Marshalltown
August 31, 2023: Marshalltown, IA 50158 The Solon Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Marshalltown Bobcats to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davenport North for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Solon will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Bobcats (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Mohawks enter the CIML - Iowa game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Mason City gained a win over Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
