August 31, 2023: Orofino, ID 83544 The Timberline Spartans volleyball team (Weippe, ID), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID)
The Maniacs (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Maries (St. Maries, ID). The Lumberjacks enter the 2A Central Idaho challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Maries defeated Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Kendrick Tigers (Kendrick, ID) in a 1A White Pine challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Timberline will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Nezperce (Nezperce, ID).
